Job Description:

 

SUMMARY: Responsible for serving beverages to patrons in a timely, friendly and enthusiastic manner. Responsible for performing all duties according to Casino Queen policies, procedures and Internal Controls. Responsible for providing a safe environment for patrons and employees. Will be required to have Hep A shots, Food Handler Safety Certification and Acohol Server Training Certification.  Must be available to work nights and weekends.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: To perform this job successfully, a Casino Queen Cocktail Waitress/Waiter must be able to perform each essential function, as well as, the other requirements of this job satisfactorily. 1. Records and serves patron’s alcoholic/non-alcoholic drink and food order in timely manner.

 

2. Sets up designated work area with ashtrays and cup holders. Keeps work area clean during assigned shift. Assist bartender as necessary.

 

3. Accurately computes bill, accepts payment and provides accurate change to patron. Knows and uses Point of Sale System. Pay bartender correct amount for drinks.

 

4. Restocks bar supplies as necessary.

 

5. Performs all opening and closing duties as assigned.

 

6. Strong communication and patron relations skills

 

7. Regular attendance is essential function of this job.

 

8. Satisfactorily complete assignable work requested by management.

 

9. Knows and complies with all rules, regulations, laws and policies pertaining to the food and beverage department.
